About Us
I wish I had a heartwarming and touching story about why we started our company, but to be truthful, The Sparrow's Nest Candle Co. was born out of an ADHD hyper fixation. For those who do not have or know someone with ADHD, a hyper fixation or dopamine-chasing obsession can grip a person so tightly that we become irrational and slip into "all or nothing" mentality. This is how we came to be.
Meet the Creator
Hello! My name is Taylor and I am the creator and "CEO" of The Sparrow's Nest Candle Co. The CEO stands for Chief Everything Officer as I do everything from curating fragrance collections and making products to managing our books and designing our website.
I have always been an avid crafter, with hobbies like knitting/crocheting, diamond painting, and cross stitching, my hobbies always revolved around crafting and I bounced between them quickly and fervently.

Candle making has always been on my list of crafts to learn and in July of 2023, that became a reality. And it's all thanks to Prime Day.
The Summer Before

Prime Day, July of 2023
While doom-scrolling before work I noticed that Amazon had a candle-making set as a Prime deal. Since I was running off to work and didn't want to miss out on the deal, I quickly purchased the set and headed out the door. Excited about my new purchase, I listened to a YouTube video about candle making during my drive and that's when I started to realize that my irrational brain may have made a mistake. I continued listening to YouTube videos and Podcasts throughout the day and was now convinced that I had made a mistake. During my lunch break, I quickly canceled my order panicking over possibly purchasing the wrong stuff. I then took a deep dive into the research phase and I was hooked.
What Makes Us Different
My mission with this company is to be able to share with everyone home fragrances that trigger the nostalgia of childhood, let you reminisce on a dreamy vacation, relive vital core memories, or create new ones with our home fragrances.

Scent memories have always been fascinating to me and the idea of having someone smell one of my products and be taken back to that dream vacation they took to France or the smell of a crisp fall walk back in the good 'ole days makes me so happy.

Our luxury collection features fragrances based on memories from me and my family, like a long-awaited trip to Disney World, Grandpa's sweet pipe tobacco, or a reminiscent trip back in time to a beloved book series.
